Tips, Notes, & Answers

to help you enjoy Shipwrecked

SHIPWRECKED is more than a tiki market – it’s a social occasion meant to bring together LA’s tiki enthusiasts for a fun, relaxing escape right on the water. It’s a party – with shopping, great cocktails & food, excellent music, and friends (old & new).

Shipwrecked takes place entirely indoors within The Warehouse Restaurant’s space.

Vending is in the upstairs area and can be very crowded during peak traffic times (the first couple hours).

There is music played throughout the day & a live band usually around 1 PM which can be quite loud. Earplugs/protection are recommended if you’re sensitive to noise.

There is an elevator or stairs access to the upstairs vending area.

This daytime party runs from 11 AM — 3 PM.
Bands usually take the stage around 1 PM.
The bar opens at 11:30 AM.

Shipwrecked is a “come as you are” event, but most people will show up in their best aloha wear. Dress like you would for a party.

The event is held indoors, but in a historic (older) restaurant space, so it can get hot inside when it’s a hot day outside.

Food & drink at Shipwrecked is handled exclusively by The Warehouse Restaurant. Food service requires being seated in the dining room or bar. Drinks are available in the downstairs bar (starting at 11:30am) and can involve a long wait at peak times.

If you want to dine, we recommend putting your name in upon arrival as the restaurant can fill up quickly.

The Warehouse Restaurant has valet-only parking (usually about $7+tip). There is also a public (paid) lot a short distance away. See our Location & Parking section for details.

When mug releases happen, they are usually at a vendor’s specific booth. We’ll be happy to guide you upon entrance.

Mug releases don’t happen at each show, but when they do we try to announce them ahead of time on our Instagram & Facebook accounts.

Sadly, no – Shipwrecked is an indoor event held within The Warehouse’s restaurant space so dogs & other pets are not allowed.

Visit our Vending page for details and how to apply.
